We’re back to normality and ready to open our 2023 diaries. With this in mind and before we’re swept up in the New Year “New Me” vibes, we wanted to reflect and celebrate everything we have achieved in 2022.

In February our Directors and Management team featured in the Shropshire Star and Telford Journal. This kick started our birthday celebrations, as 2022 was our 20th year in business.

We wanted to promote the success of the company on a platform which would reach a wider audience, spread the word of our presence and the services that we offer within the retail, leisure, health, education, finance and commercial sectors.

We joined the nation in June to celebrate our late Queens Platinum jubilee and her fantastic 70 years in reign, indulging in sweet treats and thoroughly making the most of the bank holiday.

In August we transformed our outdoor car park into a 20th Birthday party hot spot. We gathered employees, friends and family to celebrate the fantastic milestone of reaching 20 years in the business.

With many tales and trips down memory lane, the day was a great success which continued into the late evening.

We had a range of entertainment such as: A bouncy castle, a slide and bucking bronco from Premier Bounce.

Loadawaffle and The Next Door Bar catered for us with exceptionally delicious food whilst Fruit Machine kept the background noise alive and sang us the best hits.

Not forgetting the wonderful team at A1 Marquee’s who set up and down a 12x6m marquee, providing extra shelter in case the rainclouds emerged!

In September we indulged in homemade cake, brownies and sausage rolls raising money for Macmillan Cancer, taking part in the annual Bake Sale. We’re incredibly proud of raising £255.45 for the charity, which will no double help tremendously. With it being our second year taking part, we knew that “the great British bake competition” was a good idea to be repeated.

In November we reached 30,000 customer orders since the company started back in 2002. A fantastic achievement for a 20 year turn around. Our social media interaction has increased since 2021, with a whopping current number of 3,196 connections – with regular interaction and promotions we have soared since 2020 when we decided to kick start our social media activity.

We love engaging with customers, suppliers and the general public and providing varied content that showcases our team and manufacturing.

Looking at the year as an overall, from January to December we have completed and invoiced 1,422 orders with a projected turnover of 4 million.

As we look ahead into 2023, we aspire for growth, health and happiness. As the welfare of our team is incredibly important to us, we want to be able to provide as much support and encouragement possible.

We’ve had such a wonderful year, filled with events that bring our team together and celebrate the hard work that they achieve day in day out.

Thank you for supporting us. Here’s to 2023 – we can’t wait to share with you what we have planned.
